Ironing Linens
Do I have to iron my linens?
Ironing or pressing your linens adds polish but is by no means required. The pique blanket covers and shams are very popular because they can be placed directly from the dryer onto the bed with some hand-pressing and straightening with excellent results. Because of the high quality cotton used for sheet sets, these itmes do look relaxed if used without pressing. Linen items, whether decorative shams or table linens, are the most likely to require pressing, but this can be minimized if line-dried. We do NOT recommend pressing towels or quilts!
