Monogramming allows us to infuse an extra touch of personality into every piece we create at Leontine. Choosing a monogram style that reflects your taste and lifestyle can feel daunting, but our founder, Jane Scott Hodges, is here to help!
The letter arrangement of your monogram is the first step in your decision. If you would like your primary initial (your last or shared name) in the middle, go for a traditionally arranged monogram (see the Alexa above). If you would like your letters to read straight across, choose a straight monogram (see the applique version of the Darcy below). Choosing a monogram can feel complex, but there is no wrong answer!
Setting can also help you decide on your monogram style. Jane Scott likes to lean more formal for bed linens, but loves cocktail linens as a place to experiment with playful letter arrangements — such as a couple’s first initials or a single initial.
