A simple tenchnique for the finishing touch.
Extraordinary table settings don't always have to be complicated! Jane Scott's tried and true method for dinner napkin folding is an elegantly simple way to show off your monogram or motif. Watch the video above for a demonstration of the steps listed below.

Step 1
Start with your napkin open fully flat, and then fold it into fourths. If your napkins are monogrammed, ensure the monogram is visible in the lower corner.
Step 2
With the monogram in the bottom corner, fold the square in half along the diagonal by bringing the top and bottom corners together.

Step 3
Holding the triangle you have just created, fold the left and right corners to the back.
Step 4
Place your folded napkin atop your china, placemat, or whichever setting you desire!
The simpler the fold, the more often you will use it!
The genius of this method lies in its deceptive ease. It is a folding style that complements any tablescape, whether you are hosting a bridal luncheon or a Thursday night supper, and feels as formal or as casual as the occasion calls for. It is Jane Scott’s go-to for good reason!
