The Modern Trousseau
Over time, contemporary tastes have taken the (wedding) cake when it comes to the trousseau. These collections often reflect the taste of the married couple much more than that of the relatives putting them together.
It was Jane Scott’s “trousseau moment” that ultimately led to the founding of Leontine Linens. Before her 1996 wedding, she and her mother visited the Eleanor Beard Studio in search of trousseau pieces.
