Technique
Three traditional techniques.
At Leontine Linens, we celebrate artistry passed down through generations, bringing our heritage of design into the present. Every piece is made to order by skilled artisans who, through their talent, translate each client’s vision into linens that reflect their personal style. At the heart of our process are three defining techniques—embroidery, applique, and quilting—that together shape Leontine’s legacy of bespoke linens.

Embroidery
It all begins with a hand-drawn sketch. From there, our artisans carefully guide each stitch by hand to bring the design to life. The result is embroidery rich with dimension and individuality. See how their artistry is reflected in every embellished detail.

Applique
It all begins with a carefully sewn fabric motif, stitched and clipped by hand to reveal the design. True hand-done appliqué is uncommon today, making each design an exceptional reflection of this technique.

Quilting
Each quilt begins with a pattern from our sister company, Eleanor Beard, where artisans have carried on the tradition of hand quilting for over a century. Every quilt is hand-stitched, a process few still practice and one that demands countless hours of patience and care. The result is a stunning quilt meant to be lived with, loved, and passed down for generations.
