A Passion for the Details
With a keen eye for design and an enduring love of heirlooms and the stories they hold, Jane Scott Hodges has redefined the world of fine linens. At twenty-seven, she founded Leontine Linens with a vision to revive the artistry and personalization of handcrafted linens for modern life. What began in New Orleans has since evolved into a national brand celebrated for its blend of tradition, color, and individuality.

Over the past three decades, Jane Scott has carved out a distinct niche in her field, creating custom linens that marry luxury and practicality for modern living. Her career continues to set her apart—innovating through heritage-driven techniques and maintaining an unwavering commitment to quality. As a noted lecturer and author, she inspires new approaches to living and entertaining, blending craftsmanship with everyday function. Her passion was first sparked by the historic Eleanor Beard Studio in Kentucky, where she witnessed the artistry that still defines Leontine today— now a sister company acquired in 2002. Every design she creates captures that same sense of intention and beauty, establishing her as a leading authority in the design, creation, and use of fine linens—and a lasting influence in the world of home design.
“Jane Scott brings Southern savvy and style to the parts of our households and heritage that link us to our grandmothers and daughters alike, and she does it with a great sense of color, a wicked wit, and limitless enthusiasm for what she does.”
— Charlotte Moss, Linens for Every Room & Occasion, 2015
