With sweeping views of L.A. and the Ocean designer Donna Maselli renovates her brother's home and in doing so includes a bit of their southern heritage throughout. In one of the two octagonal rooms Maselli uses deep blue banding on bedding to add a contrasting color to an otherwise netural space.
